Whatever your interests, there is something for everyone in Braunton and the surrounding area.
We would be happy to give you any information we can on any local walks or places of interest or any activities you wish to participate in during your stay.
We can book any surf, kayak, horse riding lessons etc.

 

For Cyclists, we are in a great location to explore the famous Tarka Trail. We are happy to store your bikes and can even arrange cycle hire for you.
For walkers, there are the spectacular coastal walks on the South West Coastal path. Also take a walk through the stunning Braunton Burrows - the largest sand dune system in Britain or take a trip through Exmoor National Park.
For golfers, the renowned Saunton Golf Club is only a ten minute drive.
For surfers, we are near to the stunning beaches of Saunton Sands, Croyde, Woolacombe and Putsborough.
For other thrill seekers, you will find a range of activities close by, including kitesurfing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking, horse riding and more!

Barnstaple Pannier Market - is full of local food and crafts. You can even visit the famous 'Butchers Row' next to the market where you can find the local butcher shops and bakers, delicatessens, fishmonger and traditional sweet shop.
Bideford and South Molton also have markets on specific days.

Arlington Court (National Trust) - Historic House and garden 
Dartington Crystal - Learn about the history and watch the expert master engraver demonstration
Lundy Island - Experience a boat trip from Bideford to the Island for a spot of walking, birdwatching, fishing etc
Lynton and Lynmouth - Take a trip up the famous water powered cliff railway and explore the wonderful scenery.
